Our history

About

Smart Refill was founded in 2006 in Helsingborg, Sweden, to provide consumers with a simple way to top up their prepaid phone numbers on the go. After a successful period of creating prepaid solutions for the telecom industry, Smart Refill has grown to offer complete solutions for payments, top-ups and subscription management and be the no.1 onboarding partner for Telcos. Smart Refill is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified and an authorized payment service provider under the authority of the Financial Supervisory Authority (Fi).

Smart Refill is fully owned by BGA Invest, an investment company based in Lund focusing on regional entrepreneurs and companies.
